Happy and Successful Children
Welcome to the Nursery class page. In Nursery the class teacher is Miss Bennett and the teaching assistant is Miss Bonsall. We love to learn through play and the environment is designed to be as interesting and stimulating as possible. We have a fantastic indoor and outdoor environment to explore which is split into a variety of learning zones.
We have some exciting themes this year which will ignite the children’s imagination these are: Once upon a time, Into the woods, It’s a wonderful world, Healthy me, Night and day and Mythical Creatures. Please feel free to look at our photos which demonstrate the fantastic learning that happens every day in the Nursery class
We consider ourselves partners in your child's learning. At Whitecotes Primary Academy we have an open door policy which means we are always ready to help and discuss anything concerning your child's welfare and education.

Have you ever wondered if somewhere there might be monsters?
We arrived in the classroom to see some suspicious looking footprints. Who did they belong to? A dragon? A dinosaur? A monster?
We measured the footprints and searched our Forest School site for further clues.
"A Monster's been here" exclaimed Ilah
The children decided to make traps in the hope we would catch one.
